Dr Mohamed Ashour is a highly skilled surgeon with a broad scope of practice. His expertise has been honed through a combination of overseas and Australian experience.
He is a qualified surgeon with a diverse range of interests, including general, hepatobiliary and upper gastrointestinal surgery. His expertise extends to interventional gastroscopy and colonoscopy as a GESA-certified endoscopist.
Holding public appointments at Northern and Eastern Health, he also maintains private affiliations with several hospitals in the north and east of Melbourne. He guides and mentors junior surgical doctors as a supervisor within the postgraduate medical education unit at Eastern Health.
